Hook Community
Squash Club Hook Community Squash Club has two excellent courts with showering and changing facilities. The courts are behind the Hook Community Centre, with access from the side of the centre, controlled by secure proximity card.
We have free-play nights on Mondays, when the courts are free-of-charge from 5.00pm onwards.
It is usually fairly easy to find a court, though lunchtimes can sometimes be busy. There is a booking chart outside the courts.
We have always provided great value for money. At £1–2 for 45 minutes, depending on time of day, it is almost impossible to get such good value for money anywhere else in the area.
The Club has a policy of providing the facility for all who live or work in the vicinity of Hook on a "not for profit" basis. All we wish to ensure is that the Club's outgoings (rent, maintenance, and other running costs) are met. We have two well-maintained courts, at the side of the Community Centre, with changing rooms and showers. Access is via a security tag system. Individual, family and corporate memberships are available at very reasonable rates.
The Club is run on a non-profit basis, making the both membership and court fees extremely good value.
